I made this bookmark based on a pattern in The World of Cross Stitch issue 207. I changed the colors a little bit to make it brighter. This’ ll su rely brighten up my reading 🙂
I was in need of a basket to put my smaller WIP’s and I found this pattern. I made one and I liked it so much that I had to make another and will probably make some more. I don’t know what I’ll use them for but I have so much little stuff that I probably won’t have any problem filling the 🙂
I already put my unfinished chibi gomamon a nd other little projects in 🙂 This is a little different from the pattern, but the idea is the same 🙂
Here’s the other one. I’ll probably use it as my candy-stash, so I’ll have all my candy in the same place instead of all over my room 😛
I resently started to watch one of my childhood favorite shows again, Digimon. Some may think it’s a kids’ show, but it’s still one of my favorites. I just love anime and it’s one of my favorites.
So here are some chibi amigurumies inspired by digimon:
Tokomon. It’s one of my favorite digimon. I don’t know if this looks like tokomon to everybody, but it’s my first version and I think it’s good enough.
Punimon. This is one of the baby digimon, so it doesn’t have any special powers but it’s cute and it’s the baby stage of my favorite digimon Gabumon and it’s pre-evolution Tsunomon. 🙂
Motimon. This is not one of my ultimate favorites but it’s cute and I like Koshiro who’s digimon partner he is in the first digimon adventures series.
Made some fingerless mittens for myself because I love to use these kinds of mittens in the autumn and spring because they’re not too warm to use. I chose these colors to go with a scarf I made on Harry Potter -style in gryffindor colors. The yellow in the mittens is a kittle lighter than the yellow in my scarf because they stopped selling the exact shade I used on the scarf.
The first mittens I’ve made for the coming winter. This pair went to a friend from my summer job.
These were made with a double-headed crochet hook. My friend wanted the upper color to be pink, and the lower color white. I had thought I’d make it the other way but she didn’t want it that way. I thought it wouldn’t look that good, but it actually looks really good. The ribbon just under the palm gives it a nice touch, I think.
As I was cleaning my desk last week and realized I had too much colored pencils, markers and stuff like that, an idea struck me. I could cover a milk carton that I’d cut to be the proper size with old cartoon pages and I’d get perfect and unique stands for my pencils. This way I wouldn’t have to throw the old cartoons that my mum found from our attic when she was looking for something and I’d also reuse the milk cartons. I also applied this to some After Eight and tea boxes so I got some little boxes for all my little stuff that I can’t bear to throw away.
